Afghanistan Defeats Nepal Again in U19 Cricket Series, Leads 1-0

Kandahar, Afghanistan – In the second match of the U19 Cricket Series, Afghanistan claimed another win against Nepal, taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. After winning the toss, Afghanistan elected to bat first on the main cricket ground in Kandahar and posted a total in the 50-over format. The Afghan captain led the charge with a solid knock of 58 runs.

Nepal’s bowlers showed some resistance. Santosh Yadav, Siberin Shrestha, and Vipin Sharma each took 2 wickets, demonstrating strong potential and control. However, Afghanistan managed to maintain dominance throughout the innings.

This follows Nepal’s heavy loss in the first match, where they were defeated by a margin of 150 runs. The final and deciding match of the series is scheduled for next Wednesday.

This U19 series is being held in preparation for the upcoming ICC U19 World Cup qualifiers. The Nepal U19 team will also face teams from Hong Kong, UAE, and Oman as part of the tournament.
